Our Nylon thread is strong and durable. Use the nylon thread in the weaving application method or to sew on gate clips to wefts to make your own DIY clip-in extensions.
These threads are available in 500m rolls and available in 3 colours; Black, Brown & Red.
An alternative to the Nylon Thread is our Cotton Thread which comes in 2 smaller sizes; 100m and 200m.
Sew-On-Weave Application and Tools
Hair wefts were first invented for the Sew-On-Weave technique. Ideal for coarse and Afro hair types, the natural hair is corn-rowed, with fibre if required, to create a base onto which wefts are sewn.
The corn-row design will depend on your desired final look. You can braid a few small sections, where you want to apply wefts, or you can corn-row the whole head so that all the natural hair is tucked away. The latter allows clients to go from long to short if they prefer. Plus, with clever products such as closures, it’s a fantastic alternative to wigs for people suffering mild hair loss.
Extensions applied by Sew-On-Weaving, last up to 12 weeks. During this period regular 4 weekly salon visits are recommended to tidy and tighten as corn-rows will loosen over time as the natural hair continues to grow and shed as normal underneath.
